Business Development

  • Act as liaison between our Marketing and Sales Team. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting (calling prospects) and developing relationships with potential clients.

Marketing Assistance

  • Assist the Marketing Team to implement, improve, and report on the various marketing campaigns, systems and assets for our organization. 
  • Lead Management – Manage the inbound lead cleaning and follow-up process to ensure all inbound leads are qualified, cleaned, tracked and followed up on according to our follow-up process. (NOTE: You won’t be responsible for managing the sales team, but you will assist the CEO in reviewing inbound leads to ensure they are followed up on as expected.) 
  • Branding (Social Media) – Manage and update our various social media sites, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube channel. Keep website up to date. 
  • Online Presence – Work with the company’s SEO company and directory services to improve our rankings and/or hold top positions for critical keywords 

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of working experience in business development and marketing (within the IT Industry is an advantage).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales technique (including cold calls).
  • Deep understanding of CRM, some understanding of marketing automation platforms.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to details.
  • Advanced skills in Word, Outlook, Publisher, and Excel. Candidate must be able to work with database files and Excel spreadsheets containing data.
  • Ability to properly format marketing communications, emails, and sales letters.
  • Ability to create a production schedule and follow it.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and on schedule.
  • Ability to plan work so that it is completed on time.
